We are seeking a motivated EHS Specialist to support Univar's operation in driving Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) excellence. As part of the team, you will ensure compliance with Group Policies, prioritize health monitoring, and deliver impactful training to promote a culture of safety across our organization.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and analyze legislative requirements for Safety and Environment.
  • Develop procedures and lead root cause analyses for incidents/near misses.
  • Conduct risk assessments and support environmental impact evaluations for new projects.
  • Manage EHS performance indicators, reporting, and customer EHS questionnaires.
  • Contribute to internal and external audits and inspections.
  • Organize and execute safety training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with health surveillance programs.
  • Act as the Health and Safety Officer for the Cusago Site

What You'll Need

  • Master's degree in Environmental Science, Health and Safety, Chemistry Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of EHS experience, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations (ISO 14001, ISO and Seveso normative.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, with a results-driven and collaborative approach.
  • Operational autonomy, excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to prioritize.

Where you'll work
This is an
on-site
opportunity. Preference for candidates in the Cusago area - Location is not reachable by public transportation.
