The Hasso Plattner Foundation aims to accelerate the adoption of digital technologies through science and education, improve access to art and culture, and support environmental conservation. Hasso Plattner is one of the founders of SAP, an enterprise software company, and has been Chairman of its Supervisory Board until 2024.

In 1998, Hasso Plattner founded the Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Engineering (HPI), marking his first significant philanthropic contribution. After signing the Giving Pledge (initiated by Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffet), he established the foundation in 2015. 

The Hasso Plattner Foundation's main office is in Potsdam, Germany.

For the administration and further development of HPF Group IT, we are looking for an Manager IT Infrastructure with organizational skills and experience in the administration of cloud systems and the most common client operating systems. You will be based in Potsdam and have onsite commitments at our subsidiaries in Berlin and Potsdam.

• Enable and support the secure adoption of AI-based tools, including generative AI solutions, by integrating them into existing cloud, identity, and workplace environments.
• Collaborate on AI governance, security, and compliance, ensuring data protection and access controls, while monitoring emerging AI, automation, and data technologies for potential adoption.
• Oversee all aspects of HPC group entities IT infrastructure (on-premise & cloud)
• Manage network and data security
• Conduct local and remote first & second level client support
• Develop local IT & information security awareness, including user trainings
• Steer external IT providers, including procurement
• Assist in IT projects like on-premise to cloud transformations
• Deploy & manage business process cloud software

• Successfully completed vocational training in the field of IT (e.g."Fachinformatik") or successfully completed a university degree (e.g. Bachelor of Science, B.Sc.) with an IT focus
• 3+ years' experience in IT system administration, ideally M365 & Azure cloud administration
• On-Premise network administration (e.g., Firewalls, Switches, Access Points, etc.)
• Good understanding of common client OS (Mac & Windows)
• Fluency in English and German
