Location Overview
Join our team in Aman Venice. Set in Palazzo Papadopoli, one of the city's eight monumental palazzos on the Grand Canal, Aman Venice embodies all that is sumptuous and sensuous about La Serenissima. Rococo works of art are offset by the contemporary restraint of Jean-Michel Gathy interiors, while private gardens – rare in this floating city – are overlooked by opulent dining venues and spacious suites. Just a short walk away from Piazza San Marco, Aman Venice offers the perfect place from which to explore this romantic city, and to discover the hidden gems of the city while floating away on a traditional gondola.

THE POSITION

A Spa Therapist's mission is to determine and perform treatments designed to maintain and enhance a person's physical appearance: beauty treatments, facials, body treatments, massages, manicures and pedicures etc.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Identify the client's needs (examine the body part to be treated) and determine the appropriate treatments

  • Explain A la carte treatments

  • Advise on and present aesthetic products and services appropriate to the client's needs

  • Comply with the set-up procedures for both branded and non-branded treatments

  • Follow the reception protocol and in-room procedures (before and after treatments)

  • Perform treatments

  • Receive and follow opening and closing checklists

  • Place linens in treatment rooms, as well as products, according to established standards

  • Understand and anticipate guest needs

  • Be attentive, accurate, and respond promptly to guest requests

  • Ensure proper treatment room cleaning after each treatment

  • Follow the instructions, treatment schedules, and schedules established by the SPA Manager

  • Comply with the hotel's internal rules and regulations and Spa standards

  • Maintain an appropriate attitude to reflect and promote the Spa's image

  • Maintain uniform in good condition

  • Ensure the cleanliness of equipment in the cabin

REQUIREMENTS

  • Certification in Therapies and treatments.

  • Good experience as a therapist/beautician, preferably in luxury hospitality.

  • Good Proficiency in English.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and guest relations abilities.

  • Flexible and adaptable, and strong attention to detail.
