Your Contribution To Prysmian's Success
We are looking for a Site Superintendent to join Installation Department in Milan HQ.
- Act as focal point with Customer and third parties for supervising pre-lay activities related to the power cable system.
- Interface between Customer, Civil works contractors, and Cable laying subcontractors for planning activities, checking civil works execution, and infrastructure.
- Supervise laying operations performed by subcontractors.
- Maintain a record diary of on-site activities, managing subcontractor execution per the plan and contract requirements.
- Supervise backfilling operations by third-party companies regarding timing, quality, and cable protection.
- Oversee site supervision, including personnel, assets, technical aspects, logistics, and HSE management.
- Enforce site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
- Ensure compliance with internal rules and procedures throughout the process.
- Support preparation of method statements and other necessary documentation for on-site work in cooperation with and under the supervision of Installation Engineering.
You Are The Right Fit If You Have/are
- Fluent in English and Italian.
- Degree in Engineering.
- Up to 5years of experience in a construction site context.
- Availability to spend long periods abroad on site (approx. 60-70% per year).
- Driving license.
- Leadership attitude.
- Good communication skills and relationship approach with Clients and subcontractors.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, target orientation, with attitude to manage properly priorities in coordination with Management.
- Attitude to fast learning and self-commitment.
- Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset.
