Role Overview
As an
Assistant Waiter
, your primary mission is to support the Chef de Rang and Head Waiter in delivering an impeccable dining experience. You are responsible for the logistical flow of the service—ensuring the table is perfectly set, the "mise-en-place" is complete, and the transition between courses is seamless. This role requires agility, attention to detail, and a passion for learning the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Service Support: Assist the Chef de Rang in serving food and beverages according to Aman standards.
• Mise-en-Place: Responsible for the preparation of the dining area, including polishing silverware, glassware, and ensuring all stations are fully stocked for service.
• Table Maintenance: Clear tables efficiently and discreetly, replace linens, and ensure the guest environment remains pristine throughout the meal.
• Menu Knowledge: Develop a basic but solid understanding of the menu and daily specials to assist guests with simple inquiries.
• Team Synergy: Maintain constant communication with the kitchen and back-of-house to ensure the timely arrival of dishes.
• Side Duties: Handle the cleaning and organization of service pantries and equipment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel is preferred, but we value a strong willingness to learn.
• Language Skills: Good command of English and Italian. German is a plus.
• Attitude: A positive, energetic, and "can-do" mindset. You should be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot a smudge on a glass or a misplaced fork from across the room.
• Professionalism: Impeccable grooming and a discreet, polite demeanor.
