About The Job
The Supply Chain Manager, reporting directly to the Plant Manager, has a strategic role in the organizational structure contributing to the business evolution and the implementation of new projects.

He/she is in charge of the logistics and production flows towards the various supply chain players, from suppliers to central logistics, to meet the production plan.

Within the Atelier he/she is the point of reference for the correct data management in the ERP.

He/she in charge of the following departments: Procurement, Production Planning, Logistics and Warehouse, Data Quality Assurance.

Job responsibilities

Main responsibilities/activities:

  • Coordinate all the logistics and planning activities for both the internal and external production of the site.
  • Check and optimize the real time level of stocks for raw materials, components (finished or semi-finished products) and packaging, aligning the supply to the production plan.
  • Guarantee the storage of raw materials and supervise the distribution of finished products.
  • Ensure that the program of internal-external production activities is carried out correctly and readjusted according to changes, urgencies and unforeseen events.
  • Manage the internal physical flows, including the supply of production lines.
  • Systematically research the performance optimization while managing the associated improvement projects.
  • Guarantee the correctness of the data in the ERP and support the implementation of new tools and processes.
  • Identify best practices from the other LV facilities worldwide

Profile

  • Degree in Engineering (Supply Chain, Manufacturing) / Business Management;
  • Experience 10+ years in Supply Chain in Industrial or Manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent organisation, analytical and project management skills are required
  • Strong communication, influence and leadership skills are key for the position
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, results oriented and continually changing environment
  • Willing to travel domestically / internationally, and to relocate in Italy and abroad
  • Fluent in English; French proficiency is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of ERP and MRP systems
