Financial Controller
to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with US GAAP, and ongoing process improvements. The role reports to the Financial Controller manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of the monthly US GAAP reporting package, including tax reporting
  • Continuously assess and improve the monthly close process to reduce timelines and increase efficiency
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and manage internal and external review processes
  • Support the preparation of quarterly earnings releases
  • Create and maintain an accounting calendar to ensure timely completion of key deliverables, including the financial close and Group Board package
  • Maintain accounting policy documentation to drive clarity and consistency
  • Assist with the coordination of annual audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors
  • Maintain internal reporting procedures to comply with control requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of Audit experience with US public companies or similar roles in US companies
  • Fluent in both Italian and English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations, with the ability to research and present positions on complex accounting topics
  • Experience working with international accounting standards and issue resolution
  • Strong execution skills and attention to detail, with the ability to follow through and document thoroughly
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills;
