Your Mission
:

We are seeking a Jr Data Engineer to join our team based in Milan and Cuneo. The Data Engineer will work in our Data Engineering team and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data architecture for our organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data and will have experience building and optimizing data pipelines, data models, and ETL processes. The Data Engineer will work closely with our data scientists and other stakeholders to develop and implement data solutions that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data architecture
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
• Design and implement data models and schemas
• Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and build solutions that meet those needs
• Ensure data quality and integrity
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and solutions
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in data engineering.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar
• 1+ years of experience in data engineering or related field
• Available for some business trips to other cities and abroad.
• Fluent English, other languages are a plus.
• Experience on any cloud provider - Azure/AWS/GCP
• Proficient Python developer (PySpark, PyTest are a plus)
• Experience with code versioning tools (i.e. GitHub)
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Experience with data modeling and schema design
• Experience with ETL tools and processes
• Knowledge of software development best practices
• Knowledge of Databricks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Interest for the consumer goods and digital industry
