Your Responsabilities

  • Create and manage detailed cost models that include materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses, while also providing accurate cost estimates for new designs and engineering modifications.
  • Analyze cost data to identify key drivers and trends, formulating strategies aimed at cost reduction.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and assess quotes for competitiveness.
  • Lead value engineering workshops to foster innovative and cost-effective design alternatives.
  • Mentor and train teams on cost modeling techniques, cultivating a culture of cost awareness within the organization.

Your Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Advanced English language skills are required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product development, focusing on cost and value engineering, with expertise in active and passive components.
  • Proficient in deploying cost engineering strategies effectively and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to structure and solve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in project management methods
  • Strong leadership skills to drive change and challenge the organization effectively.
