w:

The Commercial Products QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of Navico's commercial products, with a focus on radar and ECDIS software systems. This is a hands-on role in a small team that requires a flexible person who is curious about technology and has a strong interest in maritime systems. Includes development and execution of test plans, support in definition of production requirements and coordination of customer validation activities

. Essential Function

• s:Develop and execute test plans and cases for Navico's commercial products, with a focus on radar and ECDIS software solution
• s.Identify, document, and report defects and issue
• s.Plan and execute testing to meet IMO Wheelmark requiremen
• tsLiaise with and coordinate customer validation. Communicate with validators to identify and reproduce issue
• s.Assist Product Manager and Product Experts in replicating field issues and verifying resolutio
• nsWork with the Product manager and Product Development and Engineering team to clarify requirements for new feature
• s.Collaborate with other testers and developers across Navico's global organization to bring in best practice
• s.Participate in team meetings and provide input on testing activitie
• s.Conduct positive and negative functional, regression, and performance testing as require
• d.Maintain accurate records of testing activities and outcome
• s.Communicate with validators to identify and reproduce issu
