Job Description
You will become a member of a highly specialized application engineering team, enabling customers using Infineon's automotive software.

In your new role you will:

• Be the go-to-person for your worldwide customers and Infineon's Field Application Engineers (FAEs), analyzing and answering technical requests and repeating findings in the lab
• Be responsible for enabling our customers' applications using Infineon's microcontroller software products
• Train FAEs or customers in the area of your technical expertise
• Support software design-in at our customers with detailed product expertise of Infineon's 32bit microcontrollers
• Strive to constantly and consistently exceed our customers' expectations by providing technical support from product to system-level, including software
• Conduct development and feasibility studies on embedded software applications
• Compile technical concepts and application documentation
• Collaborate and share your knowledge with R&D

Your Profile
As a proactive and enthusiastic team player, you'll leverage your strong communication skills to actively listen to customers, balance their needs with Infineon's interests, and drive solutions that exceed their expectations. With a flexible and adaptable mindset, you'll stay focused on continuous improvement, tackling complex problems with ease and enthusiasm. By being personally committed to customer success, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Electronic / Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science, ideally with a focus on software aspects of embedded systems
• Professional experience with devices in the automotive domain
• Knowledge in embedded software development using C, with experience working with hardware
• An understanding of (automotive) communication protocols and (real-time) operating systems
• Availability to travel occasionally
• Fluency in English
