POSITION SUMMARY

The Banqueting Captain is responsible for coordinating all aspects of banquet events to ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction. Acting as the main point of contact between the kitchen, service team, and event organizers, the Banqueting Captain oversees the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet functions, ensuring that all standards of the hotel are consistently met.

This role includes directing the service staff, managing table assignments, ensuring precise timing of food and beverage service, and maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism throughout the event. The Banqueting Captain ensures that all guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently, anticipates operational needs, and guarantees that every event runs smoothly from start to finish.

A strong focus on hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example are essential, as the Banqueting Captain upholds the hotel's service standards while creating memorable experiences for guests.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
