The
IT Infrastructure Specialist
is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and efficiency across all systems. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, second-level support, and proactive maintenance of network devices, servers (physical and virtual), and related infrastructure components. The position requires strong technical skills and close collaboration with the Head of IT Infrastructure and the Cyber Security Office to adhere to security best practices.

Key Responsibilitie

s· Provide advanced Help Desk support for complex issues related to networking, server operating systems, and infrastructure components

.· Diagnose and resolve incidents promptly to minimize downtime

.· Perform regular maintenance, patching, and updates on server operating systems (Windows/Linux)

.· Monitor server performance and ensure high availability

.· Maintain and troubleshoot network devices such as firewalls, switches, access points, and VPN systems

.· Ensure proper configuration and security of network components

.· Manage virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar) and assist in cloud infrastructure operations

.· Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations and changes

.· Follow ITIL processes and internal compliance standards

.· Work closely with the Cyber Security Office to implement security guidelines and best practices

.· Support vulnerability remediation and participate in security audits

.· Assist in infrastructure-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments

.· Provide technical input for planning and execution of infrastructure initiatives

.· Use monitoring tools to proactively identify performance issues and optimize systems

.· Suggest improvements for scalability and reliability

Required Skills & Qualificatio**

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experien

ce.· 3+ years in IT infrastructure support or administrati

on.· Hands-on experience with networking, server OS (Windows/Linux), and virtualization platfor

ms.· Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, switches, and wireless technologi

es.· Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS) and virtualization technologi

es.· Experience with monitoring and backup solutio

ns.· Problem-solving and analytical thinki

ng.· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tas
