Senior Java Engineer

In this role, you will take ownership of high-impact technical decisions while helping shape the architecture, quality, and scalability of core systems. You will work on solutions used by a rapidly growing user base, delivering robust software that supports high performance and reliability. As a key technical contributor, you will remain hands-on with coding, testing, and reviewing, while guiding other engineers and promoting best practices across the team. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering stakeholders, drive continuous improvement, and help build an efficient, resilient environment where innovation thrives. • Architect and implement scalable, high-performance solutions that support significant growth and high system visibility.
• Produce efficient, maintainable, and reliable Java code capable of handling large-scale daily usage.
• Stay actively involved throughout the development lifecycle, contributing hands-on to coding, testing, and delivery.
• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies to ensure system robustness and stability.
• Conduct thoughtful and rigorous code reviews to uphold quality standards across the engineering team.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues promptly to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruptions.
• Promote engineering excellence by advocating for best practices, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Share knowledge and participate actively in the engineering community to support collaboration and problem-solving.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
• Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications, including expertise in concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization.
• Strong background in building scalable architectures using microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native principles.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams, driving best practices, and guiding architectural decisions.
• Solid understanding of Java, Spring, API design, and both object-oriented and functional programming.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and Spinnaker.
• Expertise in system design, database management (especially PostgreSQL), and schema evolution.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to quickly understand new domains and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Knowledge of PHP or Shell scripting is a plus.
• Self-driven mindset with the ability to operate independently and proactively.
