Associate Founder

Overview

Join Vulcano at the center of our multi-venture operation. As a Founder Associate, you'll work directly with our CEO across all portfolio companies, gaining unparalleled exposure to building startups from zero to scale.

You Are

• Eager to learn the startup craft by diving into many ventures simultaneously
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid context-switching
• Someone who takes ownership and delivers results without hand-holding

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio companies across strategy, operations, and execution
• Conduct research and analysis to inform investment and strategic decisions
• Help recruit, onboard, and support new team members across ventures
• Take ownership of specific projects or initiatives within portfolio companies
• Prepare materials for investor meetings, partner discussions, and internal reviews
• Act as a force multiplier for the CEO and leadership team

Requirements

• Strong academics (on-time graduation of STEM subject, or on-time full marks graduation of any subject)
• OR compelling prior business experience demonstrating exceptional drive
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Based in or willing to relocate to Palermo, Sicily

Nice to Have

• Prior startup experience (founding, early employee, or internship)
• Technical skills (coding, data analysis, or automation)
• Additional languages beyond English and Italian
