We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to develop a cutting-edge Electro Mechanical Medical device in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
About this vacancy
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on the full development cycle of a new medical device. You will collaborate directly with the customer and contribute to the mechanical design, from concept to validation, ensuring time- and cost-effective solutions. Your role will include producing high-quality technical documentation, running simulations and lab tests, and exploring new technologies in close contact with suppliers.
What we expect from you
- MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in detailed design of Medical Devices or Combination Products.
- Strong skills in dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T appreciated).
- Expertise in CREO and/or SolidWorks.
- Experience in Statistical Tolerance Analysis.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (e.g. injection molding, high-volume production) and Design for Assembly.
- Familiarity with GMP, documentation practices, Design Control, Risk Management, V&V, and Process Validation.
- Ability to define measurement and control strategies for large-scale production.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and test sample production.
- Proactive, ambitious, and collaborative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
