JOB DESCRIPTION The System Design Lead will work within Propulsion Systems Virtual Engineering team and collaborate with Product Release Centers (PRCs) and with other Stellantis cross-functional teams to support product development through Virtual analysis. The candidate will be accountable for the technical development and refinement of the propulsion system of reference and leads risk management and issue resolution with internal counterparts, expertise network and supplier team. The candidate interfaces with engine, controls, transmission hardware, vehicle platform, powertrain synthesis and other cross functional teams and communicates regularly through oral presentations and written reports to Propulsion Systems management. MAIN ACTIVITIES The responsibility of the System Design Lead will include, but not limited to:
•Analyzes architectures and concepts to achieve functional requirements
•He will deliver milestone assessment for each project milestones
•Leads the lessons learned of issues until the appropriate update of standard
•Risk management
•Communicates regularly through oral presentations and written reports to Chief Engineers, COEs, Component Engineers and others including Propulsion Systems management At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
