We are looking for

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Travel Consultant Team Leader (m/w/d) , who desires to contribute to the growth and success of our Service Team.

Your role in BizAway

As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in guiding and supporting a group of Travel Agents, ensuring excellence in service delivery and operational performance. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, fostering a positive team culture, and collaborating cross-functionally with other departments (Quality, WFM, Back Office, and GTM&VIP teams) to achieve business goals.

  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of Travel Agents in their daily activities
  • Monitor KPIs related to service quality, productivity, and client satisfaction
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Coordinate training needs and collaborate with the Quality & Training area
  • Ensure team compliance with internal processes and SLA commitments
  • Work closely with Workforce Management to plan shifts and capacity
  • Support escalations and complex cases, ensuring client-first resolution
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing service efficiency and scalability.

Your basic qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a travel management or customer service environment

  • Proven experience leading teams (in travel industry)

  • Strong knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre)

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Fluent in Italian and English (other European languages are a plus)

  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to inspire and lead by example

  • Passion for people development and continuous improvement.

We are also interested in 

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies

  • Familiarity with Zendesk or other ticketing/CRM systems.

  • Experience in managing multilingual or multi-market operations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Our offer

Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Full-time – 40h/week, from Monday to Friday

Salary: Starting from the level 3rd and above, with a range of 27K to 37K, in accordance with the National Collective Agreement for the Commerce sector (CCNL Commercio)
