Production Planner

About us:

NIDEC FIR INTERNATIONAL Srl, a company belonging to a Japanese multinational group leader in the design and production of ELECTRIC MOTORS with a strong presence in the foreign market, is looking for a PRODUCTION PLANNER.

Responsibilities include:

• Confirm customer orders and provide timely updates on delivery status, addressing any discrepancies or concerns promptly;
• Act as the primary between Production, Material Planning, and Customer Service departments, facilitating communication and collaboration to optimize supply chain processes;
• Analyze requests for production anticipation and postponements, assessing feasibility and providing recommendations to meet customer demands while minimizing operational disruptions;
• Analyze material coverage (MRP data) and review the critical issues with the plant purchasing responsibles;
• Conduct inventory analysis to optimize inventory levels for Finish goods and Sub-assembly to reduce excess stock and keep safety stocks levels.

Requirements:

• High school diploma;
• Previous experience in the role;
• Knowledge of Excel and ERP system (SAP, Oracle or other most common systems);
• Experience with Cyberplan is a plus;
• Basic level in English language.
