Your team:
The Multichannel Lottery Factory develops, maintains, and evolves lottery gaming systems across both retail and online channels, supporting the business with specialized expertise in high-criticality environments characterized by high concurrency, high throughput, and low latency.

Your role:

Responsible for the overall governance, architecture, development, and maintenance of lottery gaming systems serving both the Italian and international markets. The role ensures that gaming platforms evolve in alignment with corporate strategies, business objectives, and industry regulations, while maintaining high levels of availability, security, and service quality. 
 

What you'll do: 

• Coordinates the processes of analysis, development, testing, release, and maintenance, ensuring efficiency and consistency of activities across internal teams and external technology partners. 
• Manages the area's budget, plans resources, and defines priorities and development roadmaps, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. 
• Promotes quality and security standards, with the goal of ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance of the technological solutions that support the entire gaming ecosystem. 
• Ensures compliance with corporate policies (SOX, ISO 27001, ISO 9001).

What you'll bring: 

• Proven experience in leading the governance, design, and evolution of complex, business-critical platforms, ideally within the gaming, fintech, or high-transaction domains. 
• Strong architectural skills, including distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native patterns, and high-availability environments. 
• Deep understanding of transactional systems with high concurrency, high throughput, and low latency requirements. 
• Solid knowledge of IT governance frameworks, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and modern DevOps/CI-CD practices. 
• Ability to navigate regulatory environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and gaming regulations in both domestic and international markets. 
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills, capable of guiding cross-functional teams and influencing strategic decisions. 
• Problem-solving mindset, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions and manage risks in mission-critical contexts. 
• Excellent communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with executives, technical teams, and external partners. 
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
