Job Description

Responsible for developing the conceptual process design, sizing and costing of Wet Anaerobic Digestion Plants during the proposal phase of EPC projects:


• Prepare heat & mass balances, PFD, as well as performance and functional guarantees in close collaboration with Chief Engineers


• Coordinate interfaces with the various disciplines (electrical and control, layout, steel structure, civil, construction, procurement, logistics, etc.)


• Review contract specifications, identify project risks and opportunities, participate to technical clarifications and negotiations with customers and partners


• Calculate the budget for the engineering and procurement scope of supply, support the preparation of requests for quotations for critical equipment and analyse offers received from suppliers


• Compile the offer documentation, deviations, bill of quantities, electrical consumption list, etc.

Qualifications


• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Process engineering (Bachelor/Master)


• 5+ years' experience in comparable function in the energy, environmental technology, renewable energies or in similar industry


• Solid project execution or tendering background with knowledge in process engineering and good understanding of technical cost drivers


• Autonomous, proactive, curious, flexible and team-oriented personality


• Fluent in English, other language(s) welcomed
