Accountant at Kairos

Position Overview: Kairos Accounting, a forward-thinking and client-focused accounting firm, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role involves playing a crucial part in our accounting operations, providing accurate financial information to management, and ensuring that all financial transactions are handled efficiently and in compliance with legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, ensuring all accounting transactions are recorded promptly.
  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  3. Tax Preparation and Filing: Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting processes.
  5. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  6. Client Consultation: Provide financial advice and consultation to clients, helping them understand their financial position and plan for the future.
  7. Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations, and assist in internal and external auditing processes.
  8. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance financial procedures and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
