We are a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Electrical Project Engineer. This position reports to the Engineering Manager and will work in Nova Milanese, Italy.

About the position

As an Electrical Project Engineer in the Dometic Italy Marine team, you will play a critical role in the Engineering Department, ensuring the correct electrical design of the assigned items, supporting its development within the design team, in accordance with the contractual terms agreed with the customer and the technical regulations, in a specific geographic area or a group of customers.

Your main responsibilities

  • To ensure the correct electrical design of the assigned items
  • Draw and coordinate the electrical design phase of the marine air conditioning product, making improvements to existing products using the available modelling software
  • Evaluate the best solution to offer to the customer considering the electrical, feasibility and efficiency requirements, improving the sales process
  • Support other members of the design team, comparing the accuracy of the model, applying regulatory and corporate standards, ensuring that activities are executed within the deadlines
  • Share feedback and ideas with other business departments and customers for any issues and suggestions (related to the project documentation, product features and performance, alternative solutions, new technologies, etc.)
  • The post-holder may be asked to take on different tasks as required, and all employees are expected to work collaboratively to support the overall goals of Dometic.
  • Undertake other tasks as may be required from time to time by the Directors of Dometic.
