Purpose of the position:
As an Estimator, you will respond to the head of SUSTAINABLE INFRASTRUCTURES TENDERING department and be part of the
Sustainable Infrastructures Business Line
.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

  • Analyze the tender documents and study scope of work, project schedule, major resources and construction equipment to be deployed.
  • Ensure the bid cost structure definition.
  • Develop the bid cost estimate of project activities and services, including staff, manpower, construction equipment/consumables, assets, plant materials and subcontracts.
  • Identify the critical works/materials to be estimated on Subcontractor/Vendor quotations basis.
  • Analyze the Subcontractor/Vendor quotation to be included in the bid cost estimate.
  • Develop accurate cost analysis for construction and manufacturing activities.
  • Develop accurate indirect cost estimation,
  • Ensure the assessment of cost/schedule of all project activities (including management/ engineering/ procurement services),
  • Compare the market cost wth the price list provided by the Client, if any,
  • Prepare the bid price sheet and the preliminary project cash flow for internal use.
  • Prepare the bid price breakdown and any price/cost details (if required) for Client use.
  • Prepare the Initial Project Control Budget in case of Contract award.

What are we looking for?
Education:
Master's Degree/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveyor Diploma.

Experience: at least 10 years
as Estimator within Transport Infrastructures Projects (e.g. Railways, Metro, Motorway) and Civil Sectors.

Languages:
English B2

Technical Skills
: Knowledge of Estimating Methodologies and cost analysis of Direct, Indirect and Subcontracting works; strong understanding of construction methods, materials and practice.

IT Skills:
Familiarity with Estimating Tools such as: STR VISION, PRIMUS, etc.; Digital skillset (i.e. structured Database, excel programming).

What else should you know?
You will have the opportunity to travel in Italy and abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the project assigned.
