We are working with a
well-established technology company
developing a
large-scale, complex mobile product
used by a broad international user base. The team is looking to strengthen its iOS capability with the addition of a
Senior iOS Software Engineer
who can take strong technical ownership and contribute to the long-term evolution of the product and the team.

This is a key hire into a
small, experienced mobile team
, where the successful candidate will play an important role not only in development but also in raising engineering standards and supporting the growth of the team.

What you'll be working on

  • Design and development of high-quality iOS features on a mature, production-grade app
  • Improving existing codebases through refactoring and technical enhancements
  • Contributing to architectural decisions and technical discussions
  • Increasing automated test coverage and overall code quality
  • Collaborating closely with iOS, Android, backend, and web engineers

Technical environment

  • Swift
    (main language)
  • UIKit
    (majority of the UI),
    SwiftUI
    for new screens
  • Legacy
    Objective-C
    (being progressively migrated)
  • CI/CD, Git-based workflows, automated builds and releases
  • Unit testing (UI testing experience is a plus)

What we're looking for

  • Strong experience in
    iOS development
    (ideally 7+ years, but flexibility for the right profile)
  • Solid knowledge of
    Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
  • Comfort working on
    large, long-lived codebases
  • A mindset oriented toward ownership, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Interest in staying with a product and team for the long term
  • Leadership attitude (formal management experience not required)

Nice to have

  • Experience with
    Objective-C
    and/or
    C++
  • Strong testing culture (TDD, improving test coverage)
  • Exposure to modern development tools (e.g. AI-assisted coding tools)

Working model & compensation

    3 days per week in the Pavia office
