On behalf of a leading pharmaceutical company headquartered in Rome, we are currently seeking a highly skilled GL Process Lead to join their Finance team. This strategic role is pivotal in driving excellence across general ledger operations and supporting the organization's transition to SAP S/4HANA.
Job Summary
The GL Process Lead manages financial reporting and general ledger operations, ensuring compliance and leading the SAP S/4HANA GL migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop GL strategy, managing month-end/year-end close processes and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and OTC financial reporting requirements.
- Lead GL process redesign and data migration for SAP S/4HANA (FICO module).
- Monitor financial KPIs (e.g., close cycle time, reconciliation accuracy) and enhance processes through automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or ACCA required.
- 7+ years of GL experience ideally in pharmaceuticals, consumer health, or FMCG.
- Expertise in SAP ECC or S/4HANA; ERP migration leadership is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and OTC financial reporting.
- Proven financial leadership and virtual stakeholder management skills.
