Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: NAS Sigonella
Scope:
Responsible for planning, implementing, and enforcing the Quality Management System (QMS). Independent from operations.
Duties:
- Develops and maintains the Quality Control Plan (QCP).
- Ensures quality procedures are applied across all functional areas.
- Supervises Quality Control Managers/inspectors.
- Conducts trend analysis of inspection data, reporting deficiencies and recommending improvements.
- Serves as primary point of contact for Government QAEs.
- Ensures documentation of inspections, tests, and corrective actions are complete and accurate.
- Leads quality awareness training for all contract staff.
- Provides monthly and quarterly quality performance reports.
Mandatory Experience & Certifications
- ASQ CMQ/OE (Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence).
- Minimum five years of experience developing and enforcing QMS programs of similar size, scope, and complexity.
- Cannot be the PM or SSHO.
Preferred / Desirable Certifications:
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
