Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

The Event Communication Centre Specialist is part of the Event Management team, the functional area responsible for the overall management of the events at competition and ceremonies venues during Games Time.

The ECC Specialist is responsible for the management of the Event Communication Centre at each competition and ceremonies venue, where all the venue radio communications are monitored and managed.

He/she is also the main point of contact of the Event General Manager for the venue communications, as well represents the main point of contact for the communication from the venue to the Main Operations Centre (MOC).

• Before Games time is responsible for the training of the ECC Operators volunteer's, part of his team and under his responsibility.
• During Games Time direct and schedule the daily activity of the ECC Operators.
• Open and update issues in the IMS Issue Management System (severity 2 & 3) for central monitoring and coordination purpose at the Main Operations Centre (MOC).
• Complete daily reports about the ECC activity for the Event General Manager and for the MOC.
• Attend daily Venue Team meetings/briefings.
• In case of emergencies support and help the EGM or the Venue Security Manager (in case of big emergencies) in the dissemination of the info's.
• Use and enforce the use of the correct radio protocols to ensure a clear and common venue language to reduce the risk of misunderstandings in the venue team and support overall venue team communication.
• Manage, plan and realize the All-Call Communications (Gates opening, emergencies ecc.) and can request a radio silence (if the EGM has a communication to the FAs managers).
  Manage and coordinate the venue radio talk groups, with the help of his operators, to achieve a smooth and orderly communication.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

The Contract will start in November 2025 and will end in February 2026.
