with real impact?

As
IT Manager for Ford Credit Italia & Ford Italia
, you'll lead all local IT operations and act as the key interface between business teams, global IT, and external partners – covering Italy and Greece. This is a high-visibility role with cross-functional exposure and a direct impact on digital transformation.

You'll manage the full IT landscape for over 300 users across Rome and Athens, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, end-user services, dealer systems and project management. You'll ensure Ford's global standards are implemented locally – while adapting to market-specific needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day IT operations in Italy and Greece, including Cyber Security, Collaboration Tools, PC Renewal Lifecycle, Networking & Infrastructure
  • Act as the single point of contact for all local IT needs – connecting business stakeholders, global IT functions, and external vendors
  • Manage and monitor IT service providers (Dealer Service Providers (DSPs), Internet Service Providers (ISPs), vendors), ensuring contract performance and alignment with global standards
  • Support and coordinate local implementation of global IT initiatives, platforms, and compliance requirements
  • Provide technical guidance for business and dealer systemsf, incl. certificates of conformity and telecom management
  • Represent the region in Change Advisory Boards, help prioritize IT initiatives, and ensure timely delivery of critical projects

Qualifications

  • Degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, service management and tech project delivery
  • Proven leadership record with excellent communication & stakeholder management skills – experience of working with both local and international teams
  • Strong technical foundation with working knowledge of IT infrastructure, Microsoft platforms, Google Cloud Hosting, SharePoint, Cyber Security, and ITIL best practices
  • Experience in IT security and controls, DORA expertise preferable
  • Ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and communicate tech topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to occasionally travel within the region
