Senior Manager (m/f/d) Gen AI Project Lead
The Position:
Are you passionate about leveraging cutting-edge generative AI technology to transform the pharmaceutical industry? Join our team as a Senior Manager Gen AI Project Lead (m/f/x) and be at the forefront of innovation in drug discovery, clinical trials, and operational excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Drive our Generative AI strategy to align with organizational goals and advance drug discovery, clinical trials, and operational excellenceLead the conception, design, development, and deployment of impactful generative AI solutions, ensuring timely delivery while effectively managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectationsWork closely with researchers, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to seamlessly integrate generative AI solutions into existing workflows and systemsStay ahead of the curve with the latest advancements in generative AI technologies and methodologies, exploring and incorporating new tools and techniques to maintain a competitive edgeIdentify and mitigate risks associated with generative AI projects, addressing technical, operational, and ethical challengesEvaluate and manage relationships with external AI technology providers, cloud platforms, and research collaboratorsEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical AI practices in the development and deployment of AI modelsEstablish metrics and performance indicators to track the success of generative AI projects, continuously optimizing AI models and solutionsMentor and support the professional growth of team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementPersonal Skills and Professional Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldA minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in IT, including 7 years proven experience in AI/ML developmentAt least 3 years of experience in Gen AI/NLP development is essentialExperience with big data technologies and cloud-based AI/ML services like Azure Open AI or AWSStrong knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, NLP, and LLM techniques with a proven track record of delivering business valueProficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in analyzing complex datasets, building predictive models, and generating insightsPharmaceutical industry experience, especially in oncology, is preferredEffective communication skills in English, both written and verbalWhy work with us?Working at Daiichi Sankyo is more than just a job – it is your chance to make a difference and change patients' lives for the better.
