Job Description:

Enfinity Global Enfinity is seeking a Construction Director with a team player approach and extensive knowledge of constructions and projects of PV plants in Italy. The Director will be responsible for supporting active projects in Italy in construction, and the following commissioning activities.

Responsibility/Duties:

  • Overall responsibility for Enfinity Global's construction operations in Europe, with a main focus on Italy.
  • Leadership in supporting the Business Development team in opening up new technologies and countries, as well as supporting the Development team from the Single Authorization to the Notice to Proceed (NTP) phase.
  • Oversight of planning, scheduling, and execution of solar/BESS EPC projects in Italy, ensuring project goals are met and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Managing project costs, analyzing variances, and taking corrective actions to stay within budgetary limits.
  • Leadership of the construction team (Project Managers and Site Supervisors), providing support, guidance, and mentoring.
  • Development and implementation of new strategies to reduce construction costs in the Italian portfolio.
  • Ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the construction process.

Key Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (preferable).
  • Proven experience in managing business operations and overseeing EPC projects in the renewable energy sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction regulations and practices in Italy.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written.
