Hadoop Administrator

Job Description
DXC Technology is looking for
Hadoop Administrator
to join Analytics offering.

Responsibility

• Install, configure and maintain Hadoop clusters/ecosystem in Linux environment to ensure high availability, optimal performance and security
• Deploy, manage and monitor Hadoop clusters using Cloudera Manager or Apache Ambari or Ganglia Nagios
• Monitor connectivity and security. Maintain HDFS and providing necessary supports
• Work closely with database, network and software developers to support data processing and big data applications

Requirement

• At least 3 Y experience in the role
• Strong Linux system administration skills and knowledge of HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Pig
• Good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system's capacity and bottlenecks
• Previous experience on Financial Services will be considered preferable
