Engagement Manager - Energy/Oil & Gas domain

Location: Florence (hybrid with onsite and remote options)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage account-specific P&L to ensure sound client relations and drive aspirational goals for account growth
  • Create an engine to continuously seed ideas, develop solutions and structure deals to generate disruptive outcomes for clients and Quest Global.
  • Manage relationships with client's technology organization and various critical stakeholders to ensure driving of trusted partnerships
  • Responsible for growth of assigned account, driving revenue and margin growth by serving as the owner of the entire Opportunity Management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close.
  • Ideate and innovate with delivery partners to routinely generate business opportunities, by selling concepts/ideas to the client and influencing the client to win contracts based on demonstrated capability and past performance.
  • Conduct proactive research, map the accounts and competitors, as well as deliver client presentations, proposal preparation, commercial negotiations towards win-win outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Delivery Manager to proactively manage risks and ensure utmost quality and flawless delivery of agreed upon services
  • Demonstrate organized account management principles on a daily basis: Build an Account Plan develop new relationships, main current, articulate solutions with clarity and follow-through with routine governance. Serve as a trusted partner for client and manage account with full transparency
  • Manage pricing decisions within the scope of the Master Services Agreement while ensuring account profitability
  • Cross-collaborate within the organization, develop internal and external partnerships and provide necessary input for building future alliances with relevant product vendors
  • Stay abreast with changing landscape of technologies, demonstrate continuous learning, understand energy industry landscape and continuously re-invent account to drive service offerings relevant to client's needs at any given time.

Work Experience

Desired Work Experience

  • 10+ yrs of experience with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience.
  • Experience managing business of $5 - $10 Million account
  • Knowledge and experience working in Energy (Oil and Gas, and Power Generation) Industry with strong industry relations with senior and technical managers in oil and gas service companies
  • Strong foundation / experience in engineering services sales and business development and a solid understanding of product development process
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation, leading campaign cross functional teams and leading proposal presentations.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience managing complex sales process and highly consultative selling in campaigns
  • Effective in sales presentations to executive management and key stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate business proposals
  • Using customer relationship management software to track and manage campaigns
  • Experience in working with a global delivery model and working with geographically dispersed solution teams
  • Strong business acumen with end to end sales/delivery/transition experience and ability to provide high level solutions to customer requirements
  • Strong commercial skills and experience including selling process, negotiating, pricing, costing, discount structures, terms and conditions, sales strategy development, execution and sales proposal development.
  • Ability to forge relationships and build trust both within and external to organization

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree – Engineering. Master's degree/MBA – preferred
  • Formal training/experience in program management, negotiations and strategic selling

Work Requirements:

  • This role is considered a hybrid with onsite and remote options.
  • Proficient with English & Italian (both speaking and writing)

Travel requirements:

  • Occasional travel, less than 25% as required for client relationship management
