Travel Remit: Global, Below 20% of working time.

As a Oracle Design and Development Specialist, you will be at the forefront of innovation, crafting and implementing cutting-edge technical solutions for Oracle HCM Cloud and Oracle Integration Cloud. This role is not just about meeting expectations; it's about exceeding them by designing complex solutions that drive efficiency and enhance business processes. Your key accountabilities include:
- Contribute to project planning, including estimating technical tasks and tracking progress against the project plan.
- Review specifications and vendor quotations to support application design and testing, coordinating tasks assigned by senior team members.
- Develop and recommend complex solutions or customizations that meet business partner requirements, providing work estimates as needed.
- Document and deliver technical designs in alignment with standards, ensuring adherence to development methods and quality assurance.
- Apply industry-specific knowledge (e.g., warehouse and transportation management) while promoting DHL's project lifecycle and business processes.
- Collaborate with business partners and communicate with internal and external IT teams to facilitate project delivery and ongoing support.
What are we looking for from you?
- Experience in analysis, design, development, enhancement, and support of Oracle applications within an IT environment.
- Experience in integration development.
- Experience in PL/SQL programming.
- Experience in HCM extracts, fast formula, and HDL development.
- Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud, REST APIs, and APEX.
