Mechanical Supervisor – Italy

Eosol Group is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join our team for an exciting photovoltaic project located in the Montalto di Castro area, Italy. This is a temporary opportunity, initially lasting two months, with the possibility of extension. We are looking for a proactive and experienced professional to ensure excellence in the mechanical execution of our project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical Supervision: Lead and oversee the mechanical assembly activities of photovoltaic trackers at the project site. Ensure all tasks are carried out according to technical specifications, drawings, and established quality standards.
  • Monitoring and Incident Management: Closely monitor the progress of the installation, identifying and documenting any incidents or deviations from the work plan. Prepare detailed reports for the general supervisor, communicating the project status, issues encountered, and proposed corrective actions.
  • On-Site Support: Provide direct technical and operational support on site. Act as a point of reference for the assembly team, resolving first-level inquiries related to the installation and operation of photovoltaic trackers. Ensure smooth and effective communication between the different teams involved in the project.
  • Quality Control: Ensure compliance with quality procedures throughout the mechanical assembly process.
  • Site Safety: Promote and ensure compliance with safety and occupational health regulations during all site activities.

Required Profile:

  • Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technical Engineering (Mechanical specialization), or a related technical field. Vocational training in mechanical disciplines will be positively valued.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in similar roles, preferably in mechanical assembly supervision.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanics, structural assembly, and complex mechanical systems.
  • Photovoltaic Projects: Previous experience in the photovoltaic sector, especially in solar tracker installation, will be highly valued.
  • Languages: Knowledge of Italian is valued. English is a plus.
  • Competencies: Leadership, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, organization, proactivity, and the ability to work under pressure in a construction environment.
  • Availability: Willingness to reside and work in the Montalto di Castro area, Italy, for the duration of the project.
