Procurement Specialist / Buyer
for the site Carugate MI, Italy

Our site in Carugate is a competence center for semisolids, these include creams and gels.

Your key responsibilities
  • Request and negotiate supplier quotations to secure optimal commercial and delivery conditions
  • Create and issue purchase orders in SAP, ensuring accurate pricing and confirmed delivery dates
  • Support management in resolving supply-related issues and ensuring material availability
  • Identify opportunities for new components or suppliers and propose corresponding implementation projects
  • Collaborate with global procurement teams on cost-saving initiatives and aligned solutions for supply challenges
  • Manage supplier and component master data with high accuracy and compliance
  • Perform data analytics on spend by supplier, purchase type, and department to support strategic decision-making
Your profile
  • Degree in Economics or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of procurement experience (pharmaceutical industry is a plus)
  • Strong analytical abilities with solid Excel and reporting knowledge
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems; SAP is a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong time management, organization, and ability to work under pressure
  • Proactive, improvement-oriented mindset with strong teamwork skills
  • Good English and Italian skills, both written and spoken
