Job Description
KWS Italia S.p.A. is seeking a
Station Manager
for our breeding station in
Monselice
. This strategic role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and actively contribute to developing innovative solutions for future agricultural challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall management of activities at Monselice and Campiglia stations
  • Coordination and supervision of assigned projects and activities
  • Promote team efficiency through cooperative leadership
  • Timely and high-quality implementation of tasks within budget
  • Focus on technical solutions for challenges like climate change, mechanization, digitalization
  • Talent development within the team
  • Manage interfaces with internal and external stakeholders

Operational Tasks

  • Planning station activities
  • Support budget planning, investments, and staffing
  • Coordinate with other Station Managers
  • Supervise Team Leaders
  • Prepare and submit documentation to agricultural authorities
  • Manage farmer contracts and administrative processes
  • Create and update work instructions and protocols
  • Technical and disciplinary team supervision
  • Organize annual ESDs and training activities
  • Ensure compliance with work and safety regulations
  • Represent the station externally and in seminars

Required Skills

  • University degree in Agronomy, Plant Breeding or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional and leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of station activities and biotic/abiotic parameters
  • Experience in R&D-driven companies with divisional structures
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Advanced knowledge in plant breeding, field trials, and technologies
  • Empathic leadership, integration skills, and change management
  • Analytical mindset, solution-oriented, autonomous yet collaborative
