Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assembler to join our company. As part of our team of, you produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies. You follow blueprints, determine material measurements, and take responsibility for fabricating parts used in later assembly processes. You are responsible for the quality of your output.

You must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision is extremely important.

This role will be based in our Bologna office reporting to Production Manager.

Essential Job Functions

  • Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies in accordance with the operating instructions.
  • Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts (oscilloscope, function generators, multimeters, etc.)
  • Conducts quality control checks.
  • testing of the tools produced and archive the relative documentation.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • keep the spaces and work tools assigned to them tidy and in an efficient condition.
  • collection and cataloging of chemical substance safety data sheets.
  • Check wiring and electrical connections using multimeters and initial test before testing at the end of the line.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Follows safety regulations such as wearing protective face coverings/glasses, gloves, and safety shoes.
  • Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
  • Performs other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Technical, electrical/electronic - High school diploma. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of required level of education.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years of assembly experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly.
  • Proficiency in math.
  • Working knowledge of safety protocols.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced team environment.
  • Good mechanical assembly skills similar to a mechanic.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (Not Required):
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • ability to read electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings (SLD);
  • use of small soldering irons for electrical/electronic components;
  • Basic Computer Skills (MS Office)
  • Basic understanding of the English language;
  • precision, order in managing one's spaces, ability to organize oneself autonomously when the objective of the work is clear;
  • spirit of initiative, proactive attitude for the improvement of the processes in which he is involved;
  • Good understanding of quality control principles

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use fax machines, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers and customers.
