This Position reports to:
Business Manager - Commercial&Portfolio
Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead local commercial and operations teams. Each day, you will be accountable for the commercial deployment as well as the day-to-day operations of the organization within your assigned geographical scope. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the design and implementation of both the business commercial and customer-focused operations strategies.

This role is contributing to the Business Line Pulp, Paper & Fiber and Business Line Metals & Power Conversion in Italy.
In this role, you'll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
- Ensuring the integrated commercial and operational success of the organization in order to drive business growth, market share, and achievement of organizational performance and growth objectives (P&L).
- Ensuring the Compliance with ABB policies, Integrity and HSE is your priority, and you play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety and care (duties for local team and duties for country management)
- Creating, implementing, reviewing, and relentlessly executing the business commercial strategy, industry segment strategy, go-to-market model and customer-focused operations strategy with responsibility for financial and non-financial targets
- Ensuring a sustainable and effective value-chain, from supplier to customer and from order to delivery (products, projects, and service).
- Driving appropriate, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency with special focus areas such as profitability, demand analysis, cost-to-serve, channel profitability and Return on Investment.
Qualifications For The Role
- You have a Degree in Engineering, preferably in Automation & Control System or Electrical Engineering.
- You have at least 10 years of recent experience in Automation Solution and our Drives Solution business, preferably in industries such as Pulp & Paper and Metals with a solid knowledge of this business and related markets.
- You have proven success in managing P&L and you enjoy working with local and international team environment and excel in Pulp, Paper & Fiber and Metals markets
- You are at ease communicating both in English and Italian,
- You demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a customer-centric mindset, with a proven track record in driving performance and transformation.
- You have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder ecosystems.
