Milano, Lombardia, Italia TeamSystem A tempo pieno 80.000 € - 100.000 € all'ano

We are the leading Tech Company in Italy and Europe, supporting digital innovation for over 45 years.
With a revenue up to €1 billion and our cloud platforms supporting over 2.5 million customers, today we can count on a team of over 5,000 people, and thanks to a dynamic M&A strategy, with 100+ acquisitions over the past 12 years, we've continuously expanded our capabilities. We steadily expanded our offering and international footprint, launching advanced fintech services, ecommerce platforms, CRM and HR management solutions, currently operating across Italy, Spain, Turkey, France, and Albania, and we're actively working to grow our presence throughout Europe.

Bringing digital to every business is our mission. How? By placing the customer at the center and becoming the go-to partner for professionals, small, medium, and large enterprises, offering customized solutions and services to optimize business processes, whether it's managing human resources, customer relationships, electronic invoicing, or digital payments.

Modefinance is part of the TeamSystem Group and is the first fintech rating agency in Europe. It develops solutions for credit risk management using advanced Data Science and Artificial Intelligence technologies, serving financial institutions, investment funds, and enterprises. By combining the expertise of a rating agency with cutting-edge IT technologies, Modefinance provides international clients with tools to automate and optimize credit risk assessment processes. Its clients include major global players in industry, finance (banks, insurance companies, funds, etc.), and public and governmental organizations.

The Compliance Manager advises and trains the credit rating agency and its employees and executives on regulatory requirements, codes of conduct, internal policies, and procedures, and monitors adherence to these rules. The Chief Compliance Officer reports directly to the Board of Directors and independent Board members.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Structure, monitor, and perform control activities to ensure the agency complies with all applicable regulations, including European and international standards for credit rating agencies. This includes maintaining and adapting internal processes, policies, and procedures to meet compliance standards.
  • Provide guidance to employees and executives on interpreting and applying industry regulations, codes of conduct, and internal policies. Organize ongoing training sessions to ensure all team members understand and follow operational policies and standards.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate non-compliance risks, collaborating with various business functions to minimize regulatory risks. Develop and implement risk management strategies and conduct periodic audits to assess adherence to policies and regulations.
  • Conduct regular checks to monitor the agency's compliance and prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory authorities. This includes reporting deficiencies, implementing corrective actions, and submitting required compliance reports to regulators.
  • Implement and monitor systems to identify and manage potential conflicts of interest within the agency. Ensure company policies are sufficient to prevent conflicts and that all actions align with transparency and integrity requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the agency and regulatory authorities, such as ESMA, ensuring full cooperation on all compliance and reporting matters.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in a compliance leadership role within a regulated sector (e.g., Bank of Italy). Experience with ESMA and/or CONSOB is preferred.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Willingness to travel.
