Parma Field Service technician – Automation YOUR OPPORTUNITYSidel is looking for a Field Service Technician (FST) specialized on Automation; the main focus is the following:- Perform Installation, start‐up, commissioning and test of the Sidel Equipment supplied to customer sites;- Perform technical assistance during and after the warranty period, carry out training and other after sales services of Sidel's equipment installed at customer sites.- Finally, a good understanding of the customer needs is to be developed to provide objective advice and to ensure customer satisfaction. YOUR MISSIONInstall, commission and test Sidel equipment, including single machines and complete production lines Troubleshoot, prevent and adopt corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical and automated machines within high-speed production lines Execute precise technical diagnostics, share feedback with internal support teams and propose corrective actions Administrate equipment upgrades and optimisation, including hardware and software updates Collaborate closely with project managers and technical support teams to ensure customer satisfaction Train and empower client operators and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient equipment handling Report after sales opportunities detected on Customer site; Comply fully with Sidel and client safety rules, with clear communications throughout interventions  YOUR PROFILEQualifications : Technical degree (automation, mechatronics, electrotechnics, industrial maintenance…)Strong technical curiosity and eagerness to learn continuously Field experience preferred or strong motivation to learn on the job Fluent in English, essential for working in a multicultural team Willingness to travel extensively (often >80% of the time) and adapt to different international environments Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service mindset What we offer youA comprehensive training program, combining factory learning, hands-on field sessions and digital training Attractive benefits: travel bonuses, health insurance, provident fund, profit-sharing, paid leave, holiday bonus Opportunity to work on technologically advanced machines recognised worldwide A key role with prestigious clients, major industrial groups in food, beverages, home and personal care sectors An international, dynamic team and a modern, collaborative working environment that prioritises well-being and personal and professional growth By applying to this vacancy, the applicantacknowledges and agrees to the processing of his/her personal data included inthe job application, as per Art. 13 of the Legislative Decree nr. 196 datedJune 30th , 2003 "Italian data personal protection code" and perArt. 13 GDPR ( EU Regulation 2016/679 ).
