We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Group AI Solutions Specialist to support the adoption of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning within the Group. The ideal candidate will design, customize, and manage the end-to-end implementation of real-world AI solutions, and will act as the technical reference point for internal stakeholders, bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI market trends and our practical business needs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Solution Design & End-to-End Implementation

  • Support the design and customization of AI-driven solutions, moving projects from proof-of-concept (PoC) to full-scale deployment.
  • Support managing the entire lifecycle of AI projects, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Support the integration of AI models (e.g., LLMs, Machine Learning, etc.) into existing enterprise software and workflows.

2. Technical Feasibility & Advisory

  • Support in assessing the technical feasibility of proposed AI initiatives.
  • Support "Build vs. Buy" analyses to determine whether to develop custom models or leverage existing market solutions/APIs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, translating complex AI concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical decision-makers.

3. Integration & Technical Execution

  • Oversee the technical execution of AI integration, working closely with IT Dept. to ensure smooth API connectivity and data flow.
  • Ensure that AI solutions comply with security standards, data privacy regulations (GDPR), and ethical AI guidelines.
  • Monitor the performance of deployed solutions and implement optimizations for accuracy and latency.

4. Market Trends & Innovation Scouting

  • Stay constantly updated on AI market trends, emerging tools, and state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Identify opportunities where new AI advancements can provide a competitive advantage to the company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related engineering field.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions or Software Engineering with a strong focus on AI integration.
  • Proven experience in managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) of data-driven applications.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/Data frameworks.
  • Experience with Cloud AI Services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI) and API integration.
  • Understanding of System Integration.
  • Knowledge of database technologies (e.g. SQL, Vector Databases).
  • Consultative Mindset: Ability to listen to business problems and propose the right AI solution (or say when AI is not the answer).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in Italian and English.
  • Strong analytical skill and goal oriented attitude.
  • Experience working on global, cross-functional and complex projects.
  • Willing to join a multicultural and multinational group; frequent business travel across the EU and non-EU countries is an essential part of this role.
