What You'll Do

You will be a key contributor within the Boston Consulting Group Marketing department, assisting in the effort of reinforcing BCG's positioning within the Italian business and media community. You will support the Communications and Marketing Team in all BCG external communication activities, social media, branded content, events organization and management, along with the required networking and editorial activities.

You will also play an active role in internal communication, ensuring the effective dissemination of messages, initiatives, and updates within BCG Italy to foster alignment, engagement, and a strong sense of belonging across teams.

You will be active in supporting the media and social media functions, ensuring that a rich and fruitful communication flow with all major Italian media channels is maintained.

You Are Good At

• Supporting the Newsroom with a specific focus on the press review, editing internal paper and copy writing starting from a content basis together with the teams involved and will be managed through an end-to-end approach, including all organizational aspects;
• Supporting the social media function with a specific focus on research and editorial activity;
• Supporting the team across all marketing and communications activities within BCG Network, internally and externally, with reference to the design, the production and scheduling of a series of initiatives inspired by the concept of social and environmental sustainability and focused on unlocking the active engagement of all the CT (Consulting Team) cohorts and BST (Business Services Team – Corporate functions) members across BCG Italy.
• Contributing to internal communication initiatives, including drafting and editing internal newsletters, supporting internal campaigns, and collaborating with various functions to ensure consistent and engaging messaging across all internal channels.

What You'll Bring

• University Degree – preferably in Humanistic Studies (Corporate Communication, Communication Science, International Relations, Political Sciences, Philosophy etc.);
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in Italian and English, as well as ability to communicate/interface with people of all levels;
• Good working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
• Strong curiosity to topical issues and news among different areas, with desire to learn and a strong can-do attitude;
• Interest and knowledge about integrated media systems, content production and social environment;
• Proven organizational and administrative skills, as well as impeccable attention to detail;
• Flexibility, responsiveness and service mindedness;
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines, whilst completing work to a high standard;
• Positive attitude, drive, and commitment, with a proactive attitude to problem-solving and willingness to multi-tasking.

The Marketing team is dedicated to reinforcing BCG's image as a premium strategic and general management consulting firm.

Core Marketing Activities Include

• Developing BCG's reputation within the region: Building awareness and differentiated view of BCG through PR/media relations/social media, content and editorial development, marketing communications and external events/conferences support
• Supplier relationship management: Use of content development and mailings to support each Practice Area (PA) and/or Partner's networking and marketing plans; requires database management, event creation and execution, and mailings
• Global BCG initiatives: Aligning BCG with global Marketing initiatives and executing at a regional level e.g. Marketing Transformation
