Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and proactive L1 IT Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support in Nicosia, Cyprus. This role is ideal for a professional with strong ITIL knowledge, hands-on end-user support experience, and excellent communication skills in English and the local language.

The engineer will act as a key link between IT operations and technical teams, ensuring smooth daily support and timely resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 onsite IT support to end users.
  • Follow ITIL processes including incident, change, and problem management.
  • Log, qualify, and route tickets according to ITIL standards (incidents, changes, tasks).
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues.
  • Use ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar tools.
  • Raise service requests with vendors/manufacturers when required.
  • Perform access management, including verification and logging of system access.
  • Manage escalations, including initiating or participating in crisis meetings when necessary.
  • Act as a bridge between IT operations (production) and technical teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an L1 / IT Support Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components (Operating Systems, databases, storage, networking).
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory.
  • Experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow, CISM, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English and local language.
  • Ability to work independently during onsite, part-time visits.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: € €22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 5 per week
