The selected candidate will be based at
Telespazio's headquarters in Rome
and will be responsible for the design, construction, and delivery of infrastructure systems for teleports and satellite ground stations, including antenna foundations, buildings, equipment rooms, electrical plants, and HVAC systems.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Design infrastructure systems for satellite communications ground stations, including Data Centers, Control Rooms, antenna foundations, and internal building layout upgrades
• Supervise construction phases related to infrastructure and facility implementation
• Develop projects for the upgrade of facility utilities and auxiliary systems, including: Electrical power distribution systems - HVAC and air conditioning systems - Access control systems - Fire detection systems
• Define structured data cabling for operational areas
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders

Main Activities:

• Perform requirements analysis
• Develop layouts for building upgrades
• Define infrastructure architecture and technical specifications, including related plant upgrades
• Prepare technical documentation such as technical notes, product technical specifications, and statements of work
• Provide technical management of infrastructure projects
• Manage procurement activities from a technical perspective
• Coordinate and technically manage subcontractors
• Monitor and control project progress with respect to planned schedules and costs
• Manage construction, installation, integration, and testing activities

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong aptitude for technical project management and teamwork
• Passion for the space sector
• Ability to produce clear and structured technical documentation
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Availability to travel worldwide for limited periods (including, but not limited to, Telespazio Teleports)

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Knowledge of civil works technologies
• Knowledge of HVAC and thermal system principles
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems
• Experience in using AutoCAD for building layouts and utility plant diagrams
• Experience in developing project documentation (Technical Notes, Product Technical Specifications, Statements of Work)
• Knowledge and application of safety regulations (D.Lgs. 81/08)
