Winches Design Engineer

*Position Summary
We're looking for a
Winches Design Engineer
in
Reggio Emilia*
Location.

In this role you will be part of Winches design team. You will be responsible to define and design the most suitable solutions to meet our customers requirement accordingly with standards and internal design best practices.

Starting from requirements given by customers or sales team you will define a solution proposal and then follow the design lifecycle in all phases (planning, design, calculation, compliance to standards, document creation, monitoring of testing).

In addition you will support other functions (sales, purchasing, manufacturing and assembling) in activities that might require a technical support from engineering team.

*Main Responsibilities*

• Design new solutions (winches) according to requirements/standards
• Create 3D and 2D CAD model & Bill of Materials
• Evaluate and manage design changes request
• Define dispositions for deviation requests
• Calculation/verification of designed solutions (Gears, main components, electric/hydraulic actuation)
• Definition of Test plan for identified solution
• DFMEA definition/risk assessment
• Project coordination
• Upon request customer/supplier visit

*Job Position Requirements*
Education: University master degree - Mechatronics, Mechanical, Aerospace or Management Engineering

Professional background

• design engineer, designer, lead engineer, simulation/CAE engineer

3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, mechanical constructions, machinery and equipments.
