MARKET ACCESS MANAGER – ITALY

Pharma Point is seeking a Market Access Manager on behalf of a leading multinational pharmaceutical company operating in the field of rare diseases. The role will be based in Milan and will play a strategic part in ensuring timely and sustainable access of the company's therapies to patients across Italy.

As part of the national Market Access team, the professional will be responsible for defining, implementing and monitoring market access and pricing strategies at national and regional level, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and key institutional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and submission of pricing and reimbursement dossiers to AIFA;
  • Manage pricing negotiations and maintain proactive relationships with national and regional authorities;
  • Develop and execute market access strategies ensuring alignment with corporate objectives;
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with AIFA and key institutional stakeholders;
  • Contribute to the definition of Public Affairs strategies, supporting advocacy and policy initiatives;
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Medical, HEOR, Commercial) to support market access goals;
  • Monitor the evolving regulatory and policy landscape, particularly within the rare diseases area.
Requirements
  • Degree in scientific or economic disciplines;
  • Solid experience (minimum 5 years) in Market Access roles within pharmaceutical companies;
  • Proven track record in dossier development, pricing negotiations, and interactions with AIFA;
  • Strong understanding of regional access dynamics and institutional frameworks;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills;
  • Strategic mindset and ability to navigate complex, matrix environments;
  • Fluent in English.
