The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Compliance Associate
role will make an impact:

• Becoming familiar with Viatris Policies and procedures on Interactions with Healthcare professionals, Healthcare Organizations, Patient Organizations and other key stakeholders, as well as staying apprised of legal and regulatory changes, trade association codes, and industry best practices regarding compliance and strive to implement continuous enhancements to the Company's compliance program accordingly.
• In coordination with the Senior Director Compliance, perform risk assessment and monitoring activities (including dashboard analysis, document review of transfers of value to healthcare professionals, healthcare organisations, and patient organisations, live monitoring such as ride alongs, company-organized events, or events sponsored by the Company), in coordination with and in accordance with guidance provided by the Europe Risk Assessment & Monitoring Lead and in accordance with monitoring metrics established by the COE on Risk Assessment and Monitoring, for various activities involving interactions with the Healthcare Community.
• In coordination with the Senior Director Compliance, perform Third Party Due diligence (including perform of research activities on the identified business tool, align with Senior Compliance Director on the results and archive the results as requested by Viatris Policy and standards)
• Under the guidance of Senior Director Compliance, support local Policy updates (including managing document translation, coordinate publication and archive all the evidence as the case may be)
• Support Senior Director Compliance with back-office activities for Compliance training delivery (including participants list, invitations, attend the trainings, checking attendees, archiving evidence etc.)

About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

• Master's degree in business or law;
• Experience in pharmaceutical compliance and/or related governance, legal, finance or audit function will be a plus;
• Ideally a basic legal understanding or knowledge of the:
• Italian and/or European pharmaceutical legal issues as a compliance officer or in-house corporate counsel
• Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001, Industry Code of Conduct and Guidelines at Italian level (Farmindustria, Egualia) and Europe level (EFPIA, Medicines for Europe)
• proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
