We are looking for a Technical Manager with solid experience in vehicle homologation and testing. This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for overseeing technical operations, managing inspection teams, and acting as a key interface with European authorities and international clients.
What the role is about
- Lead and coordinate vehicle testing and inspection activities;
- Supervise technical teams in Italy and abroad;
- Manage relationships with European type-approval authorities and global clients;
- Review and validate technical documentation and inspection reports;
- Ensure compliance with EU and UNECE regulations;
- Plan and allocate technical resources effectively;
- Support Conformity of Production (CoP) and certification processes;
- Oversee quality control of equipment and procedures;
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
What we're looking for
Qualifications & Language Skills
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
Technical Expertise
- Deep knowledge of EU and UNECE vehicle homologation standards;
- Proven experience in automotive testing and inspection;
- Strong understanding of ISO 17020 and quality assurance practices.
Leadership & Communication
- Experience managing technical teams and operational planning;
- Excellent communication skills in technical and international contexts;
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.
