Position Overview

As a Technical Product Owner at XTEL, you'll drive product success by collaborating with functional and technical teams to gather requirements for a domain-driven product. You'll create and maintain essential documentation, participate in agile ceremonies to enhance value delivery, while working closely with other teams to ensure seamless product development and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements for a highly technical and data-driven product.
  • Define and maintain clear documentation on platform and AI models capabilities
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring work aligns with platform strategy
  • Participate in agile ceremonies to maximize delivered value.
  • Drive structured user feedback collection and translate insights into platform enhancements
  • Work closely with AI teams and Data Engineering to enable advanced analytics ML workflows, and robust data pipelines

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical field
  • 2+ years of experience in product management or ownership for data-intensive or AI-driven software products
  • Demonstrated understanding of AI concepts, machine learning workflows, and the challenges of productizing AI models
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices for ensuring data quality
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Curiosity and innovation mindset, with passion for AI technologies and modern data platforms

A great candidate will have

  • Knowledge of time series analysis, forecasting, or optimization algorithms
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks
  • Familiarity with the CPG industry and Revenue Management processes
  • Product Ownership or Product Management certification

Location Preferences:

Our Technical Hub is located in Casalecchio di Reno, Bologna, and we offer hybrid work arrangements. While we prioritize candidates who are based in Bologna and the surrounding areas for hybrid work, we are open to considering other options on a case-by-case basis.
